Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) has hit 185,146 vehicles sold for the month of September. This is the best September that the company has seen since 2006. Sales have increased 6% in the U.S. This is Ford’s eleventh consecutive month of year-over-year sales increases.
“The combination of great styling, fuel economy and value delivered another solid monthly result for Ford in September,” stated Ford Motor Company vice president, U.S. Marketing, of Sales and Service Ken Czubay. “We’re particularly encouraged by the strength of the Fusion and Fiesta, especially in coastal markets. The F-Series also keeps delivering, with our fifth-straight month surpassing the 60,000-vehicle mark and continuing as America’s best-selling vehicle.”
Ford Fusion sales are up 62% compared to a year ago at 19,972 vehicles for the month of September. Ford Fiesta sales was up 29% over the last year at 5,043 vehicles for the month of September. The F-Series sales are up 10% at 60,456 for the month of September. The Lincoln MKZ hit their best-ever September with 2,874 vehicles sold and is up 12% compared to September of last year.
