Gameloft and Jetstar Make A Deal To Offer iPads With Preloaded Games On Flights

Gameloft is a mobile gaming company that is best known for developing iOS games based on movies such as Fast Five the Movie: Official Game, Iron Man 2, James Cameron’s Avatar, Shrek Kart, and Spider-Man: Total Mayhem. Gameloft has made a deal with Australian airline company Jetstar to provide iPads that are preloaded with their games for in-flight use. About twelve games will be offered to passengers eventually.

The tablets would only be offered for passengers that are on a plane for over 2 hours. The price would range from $10-$15 per flight. The iPads with the pre-loaded games would unlikely have Internet access.

This isn’t the first time that tablets would be available for rent through airline companies. American Airlines announced this past June that they would be making the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Android Honeycomb tablet available for rent on certain flights.
