Geeksphone is preparing to launch the next Firefox OS powered smartphone to the public soon. Geeksphone has revealed that their upcoming smartphone running on the Firefox OS will be called the Peak+. Peak+ will be an upgraded version of the original Peak developer device.
New Geeksphone users will get 25GB of cloud storage, which will allow them to synchronize data with other devices. The Peak+ has better specs than the Firefox OS powered Alcatel One Touch Fire and ZTE Open.
“After the success achieved by Keon and Peak Firefox OS Developer Preview devices, the Peak+ ‘based on Mozilla technology’ is the evolution of the Peak handset now available for end users too,” said Geeksphone in a statement.
Geeksphone did not share the details on pricing, availability, or the hardware specs of the Peak+.
