Posted Aug 26, 2012

General Motors (GM) will be investing $22 million in tooling and equipment to build the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze across two northeast Ohio plants.  The investment will help retain over 5,000 jobs at facilities in Lordstown and Parma.  Production of the Chevrolet Cruze started in September 2010 and the Lordstown plant and the Parma plant built over 500,000 units of the compact sedan.  Over 1.6 million Cruzes have been built across the world since 2009.  [egmcartech]
