General Motors announced on Monday that it is issuing three more recalls that covers around 1.6 million vehicles. This action was driven by GM CEO Mary Barra. Barra wants to redouble safety efforts following the ignition recall that affected 1.4 million vehicles.
About 1.2 million Buick Enclaves, Chevy Traverses, GMC Acadias and Saturn Outlooks built between 2008 and 2013 are being recalled for side airbags with a wiring issue that may be prevented from deploying if owners ignore the “Service Air Bag” light in the dashboard.
GM will be recalling 63,900 Cadillac XTS vehicles that need a brake booster pump fix due to two vehicles catching fire at dealerships.
Around 303,000 2009-2014 Chevy Express and GMC Savanna vehicles need “reworked instrument panel material” for meeting federal safety requirements.
