Gmail Updates To Version 2.0 On iPhone and iPad With Multiple Account Support

Posted Dec 4, 2012

About 6 months ago, Google released a Gmail app for the iPhone and iPad.  Now the company has released version 2.0 of the app with a new look and feel.  The app has improvements like profiles pictures in messages and there are numerous animations for swivels, transitions, and infinite scrolling for message lists.

The app has some time saving features.  For example, when searching on the app, autocomplete predictions will pop-up.  You can also RSVP to Google Calendar invites and +1 and comment on Google+ posts directly from the app.

One of the best features that has been added is multiple account support.  Now you can switch between five Google accounts from the menu and switch between them with a couple of taps.  You can download the app from the App Store now.
