GoDaddy hires Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan for IPO

GoDaddy, the popular domain name registration and hosting company, made a filing earlier this year with the intention of an initial public offering. Now GoDaddy has hired Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan Chase to coordinate a stock sale. It is unknown how much GoDaddy is planning to raise in an IPO or how much stock that its owners are planning to sell. The owners of GoDaddy includes Silver Lake, Technology Crossover Ventures, and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts. GoDaddy was acquired for $2.25 billion almost three years ago.
