Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has acquired SayNow, a service that makes phone calls more interesting. For example, Smule’s I Am T-Pain application lets you click on “T-Pain Dialier” so that you can send a recorded auto-tuned message to a friend through the phone using SayNow.

“We have no specific product plans to announce at this time, but we’ll have more to say about our roadmap as we integrate with Google, so stay tuned. We couldn’t be more excited about what is yet to come,” stated the SayNow founders on the company blog.

SayNow was earlier known for allowing artists to set up a personalized phone number to receive voicemails from fans without giving away their personal numbers. The artists can call back fans that they believed were the most interesting. Some of the big name celebrities that signed up include Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, Janet Jackson, Soulja Boy, R. Kelly, etc.
