Google channels its inner Oprah and gives I/O attendees free smartwatches

You get a smartwatch and you get a free smartwatch! Google is just pulled an Oprah by giving something to its audience. Google I/O attendees are being given a brand-new Android Wear-powered smartwatch. according to TechCrunch. They will be able to choose between the Samsung Gear Live or the LG G3 Android Wear.


Attendees will also receive the Moto 360 smartwatch when it becomes available in a few months.  Android Wear was demonstrated during the I/O event this morning. It has a card-like design and integration with Google Now.

Google also introduced the new Android Wear SDK for developers, which lets them build custom user interfaces and control sensors. They can also utilize voice actions and send data between watches, phones, and tablets.
