Google Did Not Delete Street View Data Yet, Gets Fined

Google was ordered by a judge to delete thousands of e-mails and passwords employees had collected from WiFi hotspots while driving through several neighborhoods.  Google was ordered to delete the data back in December 2010, but they failed to comply.  As a result, the British Information Commissioner’s Office is fining Google as high as £500,000 (around $786,000).  Google claims that there was “human error” involved.  They are working on correcting the situation now.
