Google Hangouts Video Calling Now Supported By AT&T

Posted Aug 27, 2013

Google launched the Google Hangouts app this past May.  The new Hangouts app replaced Google Talk.  The app allowed users to make video calls through WiFi and 3G/4G connections on iOS and Android.  Up until now, these video calls could not be done over AT&T’s cellular connection though.  AT&T users had to make Google+ Hangout video calls through WiFi.  Now AT&T lets you make Google Hangout video calls through AT&T’s cellular connections.  Some of the other upcoming features coming to the Google Hangouts features will include Google Glass support.
