Google Glass frames that were designed by Diane von Furstenberg have launched in the U.S. today. When you visit the online fashion retailer Net-A-Porter, you can choose between five different frame combinations for $1,800. All of the frames are the same shape, but they are in five different colors — Shiny Elderberry, Shiny Lagoon, Matte Java, Matte Ice and Shiny Ink. Each purchase comes with two frames.
Net-A-Porter is bundling each model with a free set of shades. This means that you will get the Google Glass device, a stylish frame designed by Von Furstenberg, a set of custom shades for the original device, a mono earbud, and a case.
The new range is available to purchase from the Google Glass store. The DVF-designed frames are being sold for $225 without the Glass device. The two shade options are being sold for $120 each. All the color variants are available and orders will ship within 5-7 days.
