Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) is working with VSP Global to bring Google Glass to optometrists, according to The Wall Street Journal. VSP is an organization that offers vision benefits to over 60 million people. VSP works with 29,000 networks and also runs Marchon Eyewear and Altair Eyewear, which are companies that manufacture and designs eyewear.
Through the partnership, Google, would be able to bring Glass to people that need prescriptions. Google Glass version 2 has been upgraded to support prescription lenses, but the search giant has not officially launched prescription lenses for the smart-glasses product.
