Google+, the social network created by Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG), launched on June 28, 2011 of this year as an invite-only service. The number of invites that was sent out for the service was extremely high and millions of people registered within a couple of weeks. Now Google has released a TV commercial promoting the social networking service and it aired during the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers game on Thanksgiving Day. I believe that this proves that Google+ is in it for the long haul and won’t suffer the same fate as one of Google’s many shut-down service. Check out the video above.
