Google Launches Docs App For Android

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has released a Google Docs application for the Android operating system. Users will be able to search, edit, and share documents through the app. The Docs can be easily shared with contacts on your phone from within the app itself. You can add a widget to your home screen for easier accessing starred documents, taking a photo to upload to docs, or creating a new Doc with one tap. Photos taken with the Google Docs Android app converts text in the photo into editable Google documents using optical character recognition (OCR).
