Google Launches A Map To Track Hurricane Sandy

Hurricane Sandy is striking cities all over the East Coast and knocking out power lines.  Many people are being asked to evacuate.  Google has created a crisis map to help track Hurricane Sandy’s path and it allows users to select different layers of information like evacuation zones, shelter locations, cloud imagery, public alerts, forecast track.  You can check out the map here.  Hurricane Sandy is a category 1 hurricane and is considered life-threatening.
