Google Announces The Nexus 10 Tablet

Even though Hurricane Sandy caused Google to cancel their special event to announce the Nexus 10, the company decided to inform the press about the tablet anyway.  The Nexus 10 is a 10.1-inch tablet that has a 2,560×1,600 display at 330 pip, 9 hours of continuous video playback, 500 hours of standby time, front-facing stereo speakers, and Android 4.2 operating system.  Other specs include a dual-core Cotex A15-based 1.7GHz Samsung Exynos 5250 processor, 2GB RAM, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and a 5-megapixel camera.  The Nexus 10 will be available on Google Play in the U.S., U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada, and Japan.  The 16GB Nexus 10 costs $399 and the 32GB version costs $499.
