Google to launch a tool for alerting users of removed links

According to The Guardian, Google is preparing to launch a tool to alert users in Europe when certain search results have been removed due to a ruling made last month by the Court of Justice of the European Union (ECJ).
The ruling allows individuals to have the right to remove outdated information about themselves from search engine results. Google created an online form for users to request the removal of outdated and damaging links.
Google will indicate on search result pages if links have been removed in a way that is similar to how it handles search results that may lead to copyright-infringing content.
