Google’s Christian Oestlien has released a video warning Google+ users not to create business profiles with the social network. Oestlien, the Google+ Ads Lead, says that business profiles will be shut down by the policy team. Search Engine Land reports that there will be a test group of what Google calls “non-user profiles,” which companies can apply for here.
Oestlien’s video says the business profiles will be available later this year, and that Google+ for businesses will “include things like rich analytics and [?] other parts of Google that businesses might use on a daily basis, like AdWords.”
