Google’s Stance In The Apple-Samsung Lawsuits

Posted Aug 10, 2012

Google has an interest in helping manufacturers if they are getting sued over patents related to Android.  According to CNET, Google is gearing up more for fights between Samsung and Apple over Android universal search functionality rather than the current Samsung and Apple trial where they are arguing over essential wireless patents and Apple’s design and feature patents.  Google is also trying to figure out how to defend Android from Apple and Microsoft through the Motorola acquisition.  Right now the Samsung and Apple trial is not Google’s fight, but maybe down the road it might turn into an Android battle and the search giant company will step it.
