GSN Games acquires Bash Gaming

GSN Games has announced that they are acquiring Bash Gaming, the company behind social casino game Bingo Bash. GSN did not reveal how much they paid for the company. GSN did not reveal how much they paid for Bash Gaming, but Eilers Research estimated that the deal was worth $160-$170 million. Bingo Bash is used on Facebook, iOS, Android, and the Kindle. GSN also licenses casual games like Wheel Of Fortune Slots and Deal Or No Deal Slots.

GSN Games will have the second highest monthly active users base in Facebook’s social casino games category and 2 of the top 10 overall grossing iPad apps in 2013. GSN Games was founded in 1999 under the name GSN Games reaches around 56 million players. This deal is expected to close in the middle of March.

GSN almost bought Bingo Bash last year, but the deal fell through because another bidder stepped in. GSN sued Bash Gaming for contractual fraud after that. The companies negotiated the contract and the lawsuit was dropped.

Bash Gaming has around 140 employees and generated around $60-$70 million in 2013 revenues. Around 42% was through Facebook and 58% was from mobile devices.
