Guardant Health is a health technology company that has raised $30 million in funding. This round of funding was led by Khosla Ventures with participation from Sequoia Capital and Pejman Mar Ventures. Guardant Health has now raised a total of $40 million.

What does Guardant Health do? It has developed a non-invasive cancer screening tool that is called Guardant 360.

Guardant 360 uses blood samples instead of tissue. This screen tool was created to help patients avoid getting biopsies, which could cost around $10,000 for people without health insurance. Guardant Health will be using the funding to expand the commercial release of Guardant 360.
