GymPact Is A Service Where Users Get Paid If They Complete Their Workouts

Posted Jan 14, 2013

GymPact is a startup company with a unique fitness idea that recently launched an Android application as a follow-up to their iOS application.  The way it works is that users agree to pay more if they miss scheduled gym workouts.  This money is then spread out to people that did make their gym sessions.  Users are able to earn real money for completing their workouts as they had planned.  This is a great service if you made going to the gym more a New Year’s resolution.  GymPact co-founder and CEO Yifan Zhang said that more than half of all users that signed up in the first week of January 2012 are still active.  This amounts to around 500 people.  The company hit around one million workouts in 2012 itself too.
