Most Netflix users are still really angry about the company’s decision last year to split the streaming and DVD rental services. The price raised for the combination was by around 60% according to GfK.
Around 51% of 1,051 people between ages 13-54 that GfK surveyed in June said that they would be interested in switching in favor of a similar streaming service from their pay TV company. This is up from 45% that said they would switch in a similar survey last year.
?Netflix clearly has built a model worth emulating ? but it will have to fight harder to sustain brand loyalty and its position as market leader,? stated GfK Media SVP David Tice. Netflix subscribers spend about 8 hours per week watching shows.
