Hansoft raises $10 million in funding

Hansoft is a Swedish project management and collaboration company that has raised $10 million. This first round of funding was led by investment firm Hasso Plattner Ventures.

Hansoft is known for making the team collaboration tool called Agile. Agile is used by game companies like Capcom and id Software. Hansoft will hire more people at its office in San Francisco, including a chief growth officer and chief revenue officer.

?We are truly excited that Hasso Plattner Ventures have joined our team of investors,? said Patric Palm, CEO of Hansoft. ?Their international network and experience will help us bring Hansoft to a much wider group of users.?

Hansoft has been profitable since day one and is wholly and equally owned by its founders Erik Olofsson, Hans Andersson, and Patric Palm. The company previously raised funding from Creandum.
