Hewlett Packard is going to sell PCs with Windows 7 again

Posted Jan 20, 2014

Hewlett Packard has plans to start selling PCs with the Windows 7 operating system again due to popular demand. HP sent e-mails over the weekend saying “Windows 7 is back.”

By selecting Windows 7 over Windows 8, customers could see $150 in savings. If you go to HP’s desktop PCs, you will be presented with Windows 7 computers by default. The laptop section has Windows 8 machines.

There is a negative perception of Windows 8 due to the completely revamped Start screen. It has a mix of desktop and tablet user interface.
