Hitting Over 1 Billion Pageviews Per Month, 500px Launches Redesigned Portfolios

Posted May 16, 2013

500px announced on Wednesday that they have launched new Professional Photo Portfolios.  These Photo Portfolios were redesigned from the ground up.  500px is now hitting over one billion page views per month.

500px’s Portfolio UX allows photographers to have their own URL, backup system, pages, tabs, zero maintenance, and incremental hosting fees.  Your Portfolio page gets linked directly to your 500px account.

The three new features are:

1.) Ability to showcase photos in a beautiful lush and textured layout with options for people to interact with you and your photos.

2.) The ability to setup and customize your Portfolio page in just a few minutes.

3.) Ability to create a unique look and feel to a page design with access to full CSS customization.

500px recently increased storage limits for all of their accounts and the prices for paid memberships.  Free accounts allows 500px users to upload 20 photos per week.  500px Plus costs $25 per year and the Awesome plan costs $75 per year (accepts larger sizes of photos at up to 100Mb per file) with unlimited storage.
