Honda has announced that they have exported their 1 millionth vehicle from the United States. Honda has been building cars in the United States for the last 25 years. The 1 millionth vehicle was a silver 2013 Honda Accord EX-L sedan and it was shipped to South Korea from the their Marysville Auto Plant.
Honda believes that within 2 years, they will become a net exporter of automobiles from North America where they will export more vehicles built in their auto plants in North America than it imports from Japan. Honda has exported over $22 billion worth of cars since 1987.
