It wasn’t too long ago that Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) was considering spinning off their PC unit. Now the company has announced that they have come full-force in the ultrabook market with the launch of the Folio 13. The Folio 13 has a 13.3-inch screen and is less than 0.7 inches thick. The Folio 13 has the longest-lasting battery in its class at 9 hours.
The outter shell is made out of metal and it has a single-surface Imagepad with a backlit keyboard. The computer also has the standard Ethernet port, HDMI output, USB 3.0, and an optional TPM security chip on top of the card reader.
Specs include 4GB of RAM, 128GB solid-state drive, and 1.4GHz Core i3 processor (1.6GHz Core i5 upgrade optional). The Folio 13 will be available starting December 7th at $899.
