HTC Announces Sensation 4G and Watch Video Service

HTC has announced a new device called the Sensation 4G for T-Mobile USA. The Sensation 4G has a 4.3-inch display, qHD 960×540 pixel resolution, Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM, 1GB ROM, microSD card slot, 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS/aGPS receiver, and 1530 mAh battery. The HTC Watch video service is built in to the phone.

The HTC Watch video service allows consumers to access movie and TV show rentals and purchases. Content can be watched on up to 5 HTC devices. The movies and TV shows can be purchased or rented through credit card or carrier billing depending on the mobile operator company. HTC Watch was developed out of the company’s acquisition of Saffro Digital.
