HTC has abandoned their plan to create a Windows Phone 8 handset with a screen that is larger than the 4.3-inch 8X device. HTC believes that it would not be able to compete against high resolution devices like the Android based Droid DNA phone. HTC decided against designing the device because the screen technology would be obsolete before they could manage to put the device out for sale.
The phone was supposed to have a 4.7-inch screen with a resolution that would be similar to other Windows Phone 8 devices. However it would not be as good as the phones that have full 1080p screens.
The HTC 8X has a 4.3-inch with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. This is the best display that a Windows Phone 8 device can deliver. This means that the Zenith phone would have the same resolution, but a slightly bigger screen. HTC’s 5-inch 1080p Droid DNA phone is expected to be especially popular in the coming year.
