HTC is seeing a shortage of parts that is used for the HTC One smartphone.  There are several reports claiming that HTC is having supply chain issues that are caused by part shortages, specifically around the UltraPixel camera.  KGI Securities conducted channel checks and found that HTC has been unable to obtain important components.  These parts include the voice coil motor (VCM) and compact camera module (CCM).  A KGI analyst believes that HTC may be yielding enough of the components that account for 20-30% of their needs for the HTC One.

Rumor has it that HTC is expecting to ship between 800,000 and 1.2 million HTC One devices in the first month of release according Inquisitr.  HTC will begin selling the HTC One starting March 22nd.  The reviews of the HTC One have been positive and is considered to be a strong rival against phones built by Samsung and Apple.
