Hubber Starts A P2P Car Rental Service At LAX

Posted Jul 12, 2013

Hubber is a P2P rental car service that has launched at the Los Angeles International (LAX) airport.  Members that register their vehicles get free parking, a free car wash, free fuel service, and a percentage of the revenue.

The startup is based at the Standard parking lot at LAX.  The company was founded by LA resident and film producer Paul Davis.

Davis used to travel all the time and knew that this service would be valuable.  Davis would rent fleets of cars for his crews and realized that his own vehicle sat at home unused.

The price of the cars listed on Hubber ranges at between $45 and $60 per day.  Hubber is opening up their service at the San Francisco airport (SFO) soon too.
