International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) has acquired real estate management software company Tririga. The financial details of the deal was undisclosed. Tririga’s software allows clients to make decisions about real estate initiatives, space usage, and analyzing environmental impact investments.
IBM said that Tririga’s software helps companies cut real estate expenses, which is generally the second largest expense on a company’s income statement. Tririga’s software is used by over 200 clients, including over one-third of the Fortune 100 corporations and 15 federal departments of the U.S. government.
