iHeartRadio, the streaming radio service owned by Clear Channel, has announced this week that they have surpassed 30 million registered users since launching under 2 years ago. The iHeartRadio service lets you listen to your favorite radio stations while you are on-the-go through their website, Android app, and iOS app. That makes iHeartRadio the second fastest growing digital service after Instagram with a growth rate that is two times faster than Facebook.
Since iHeartRadio listeners are not required to create an account to broadcast the radio stations, the number of registered users is only a small snapshot of the overall reach. iHeartRadio’s app has been downloaded 175 million times and they are seeing 60 million monthly unique visitors on the digital network.

There are over 1,500 popular live broadcast and digital-only radio stations across 150 cities available on iHeartRadio. The company also has a number of other radio groups like Univision, Cox, Salem, and others. Clear Channel Media and Etertainment serves 150 cities through 850 owned radio stations, which can be heard on AM/FM, HD digital radio, Sirius XM, and on iHeartRadio.com.
