Indeed is an online job search and recruiting website that has turned around 8 years old.  The company is seeing around 100 million monthly visitors including half of all U.S. job search traffic.  The company said that they are responsible for more hires than Monster, CareerBuilder, and LinkedIn combined.

“There?s a lot of focus on social ? you can?t read a story about job seeking without reading about it,” stated Indeed VP of product Chris Hyams in an interview with VentureBeat. ?We don?t discount that, but you have to start with the simplest thing: You have to have more jobs.”  Indeed said that they stayed focused on getting more jobs on the website, keeping the website fast, and providing a great experience for job hunters.

Around 16 million jobs are present on the website at any given time.  Around 3 billion job searches took place last month alone.  According to a study by SilkRoad, more jobs were found through Indeed than any other website or service.  A new account is being created on Indeed every single second.

“We?ve been working incredibly hard to get jobs the minute they are posted in every country,” added Hyams.  “Our key metric is people getting jobs.”
