Infusionsoft is a sales and marketing automation software company for small businesses that has CRM, e-mail marketing, and e-commerce services. Infusionsoft has acquired social media marketing company GroSocial for an undisclosed amount. GroSocial lets small businesses build and track social media marketing campaigns to generate leads on social networks including Facebook and Twitter. Infusionsoft recently raised $54 million in growth capital financing led by Goldman Sachs. Infusionsoft decided to acquire GroSocial to create an easy-to-use social media marketing software tool to help small businesses get qualified leads. GroSocial will be integrated into Infusionsoft’s CRM, marketing, and e-commerce tools.

GroSocial was founded in 2010 by Zach Mangum, Kevin Kirkland, and Chris Wright. GroSocial currently has over 30,000 users and 19 employees. The GroSocial team will join Infusionsoft. Infusionsoft will have 370 employees following the acquisition and Magnum will continue to lead operations in Utah. He will also oversee GroSocial’s social product strategy in Kirkland. GroSocial is Infusionsoft’s second acquisition after CustomerHub. CustomerHub is an online membership and customer tracking tool. Infusionsoft has over 12,000 small businesses as clients.
