The funding was provided by Draper Fisher Jurvetson and existing investor Atlas Ventures. InsightSquared has raised a total of $13.5 million.
Based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, InsightSquared that has features like an insight feed, activity tracking, data quality monitoring, tagging/filtering, sales trends, sales forecasting, KPIs, employee scorecards, activity ratios, and nightly status e-mails. InsightSquared has grown since they launched in 2011. By the end of 2012, InsightSquared saw their annual revenues increase six times.
InsightSquared focuses primarily on mom-and-pop shops and it can be integrated with Salesforce.com. Lower level employees can use InsightSquared to leverage data that already exists in an organization to help drive sales and increase productivity.
