InsightSquared Raises $8 Million In Series B Funding

InsightSquared is a cloud-based sales and marketing analytics company that works closely with SMBs.  InsightSquared has raised $8 million in Series B funding for growth acceleration.  The funding was provided by Draper Fisher Jurvetson and existing investor Atlas Ventures.  InsightSquared has raised a total of $13.5 million.

Based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, InsightSquared that has features like an insight feed, activity tracking, data quality monitoring, tagging/filtering, sales trends, sales forecasting, KPIs, employee scorecards, activity ratios, and nightly status e-mails.  InsightSquared has grown since they launched in 2011.  By the end of 2012, InsightSquared saw their annual revenues increase six times.

InsightSquared focuses primarily on mom-and-pop shops and it can be integrated with  Lower level employees can use InsightSquared to leverage data that already exists in an organization to help drive sales and increase productivity.
