InstaEDU is a San Francisco based startup that has raised $4 million in a new round of funding, according to TechCrunch. The company plans on using the funding to build out their tutoring platform and hire more employees.
This round of funding was led by Battery Ventures. Social+Capital Partnership also participated in this round.
InstaEDU has now raised a total of $5.1 million. InstaEDU sells tutoring sessions at between $25 to $45 per hour depending on the lesson type.
Currently there are over 3,000 tutors on InstaEDU that make an average of about $70 per week.
