Instagram Now Has A Photo and Video Embedding Feature

For reporters like us, it is essential to sometimes embed videos.  Since many celebrities and news agencies have Instagram, it’ll make our articles more flashy.  When visiting Instagram, users can find the embed button through the desktop version of the photo social network on the right-hand side of the public photos or videos.

The button gives users a code that can be inserted into blogs and articles.  I predict that this feature will be very popular with Tumblr blog posts.

Instagram added the ability to record videos back in June.  Twitter’s video sharing service, Vine, launched their embed feature back in March.  Instagram users that have their accounts set to private will not see an embed option.

“Your embedded photo or video appears with your Instagram username, and clicking on the Instagram logo will take people to your page on where they can discover more of your photos and videos,” stated Instagram in a blog post.
