Instagram Version 4.1 Lets You Upload Video From Your Camera Roll

Posted Aug 8, 2013

Back in June, Instagram added the ability to upload videos.  Instagram has updated their app to version 4.1 to include one of the most requested features, which is the ability to upload videos from the phone’s media library regardless of when they were captured.

Once you select the video clip that you want to import, you can trim it down to the part that you like best.  The new version of Instagram also lets you choose how to square-crop your clip so that you can keep the action front and center.

Automatic Straightening: Instagram Version 4.1 has an Automatic Straightening feature for iOS.  Instagram has a new Straighten icon that lets you straighten photos using a slider, including the ones that are imported from your photo library.
