Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) And Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) has announced that a new line of Chromebooks will be coming soon that will be powered by high-speed Haswell chips.
Hewlett-Packard, Acer, Asus, and Toshiba are the hardware partners involved in the new Chromebooks that are coming. Intel and Google announced the new Chromebooks at the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco today.
The new Chromebooks are expected to have a battery life of 9 hours. Likely, the new Chromebooks will cost under $300 for the WiFi-only models.
One of the new Chromebooks, known as the HP Chromebook 14, will have multiple colors and an optional 4G model.
