Intuit Inc. (NASDAQ:INTU) has bought FullSlate, an online scheduling company that allows customers to make appointments directly to websites and Facebook Pages. The terms of the acquisition was undisclosed.
FullSlate will be rolled into Intuit’s Demandforce, which is the company’s marketing division for small businesses. Demandforce helps clients stay in touch with customers through e-mail and SMS messaging. Demandforce has online reputation tools that helps clients reach out to their customers for reviews than gets distributed to top website. FullSlate’s scheduler service and e-commerce platform will be integrated with Demandforce.
FullSlate lets customers use an embed code for the online appointment schedule that they can place on their website. FullSlate also has a Facebook app that lets users schedule items to a Facebook Page so clients and their friends can make appointments.
Landing pages can also be created for customers with a logo, map, hours of operations, and online scheduling. The services works on Android and iOS devices, including calendar syncing, e-mail marketing, and a client database.
