Apparel designer Isaac Mizrahi has made a partnership with General Motors to launch a new fashion line. The GM-Mizrahi apparel will be sold exclusively through daily deals website LivingSocial as soon as late September. The new line of fashion is known as “Malibu Style” and it will be part of a broad effort to promote the Chevy Malibu among women between the ages of 25 and 45.
?One of the things I was inspired by was a blue light that emanates from the dashboard,? said Mizrahi in an interview with AdWeek. ?It?s just sexy.” Mizrahi will be featured in print ads, online video ads, and display units. These ads will appear over the next 3 months in magazines and websites that are run by Time Warner such as InStyle and People.
Mizrahi worked with Target Corporation in 2002 to sell a fashion like including accessories and home goods. LivingSocial has around 60 million in subscribers.
