ITC Investigating Apple Over Motorola Patent Complaint

Last month Motorola Mobility filed a patent complaint against Apple with the International Trade Commission (ITC).  Motorola was seeking an import ban against Apple’s devices over the alleged infringement of seven patents.  The ITC has announced that they are investigating Motorola’s complaint.  Florian Mueller of FOSS Patents said that the ITC is now investigating Motorola’s complaint and the complaint against Apple does not include any standard-essential patents, which makes an import ban against Apple more likely if the company is found to be wrong.  The ITC investigation will most likely be completed sometime in 2014.  Below are some related articles in this case:
