Rapper, record producer, and entrepreneur, Jay-Z released his new album Magna Carta Holy Grail exclusively with Samsung customers first. Unfortunately for Samsung, the album leaked and it is available everywhere online now. The album was made available immediately on file-sharing websites and many blogs after launching at midnight Eastern time.
Samsung reportedly paid $20 million to get the album exclusively.
Another reason why Samsung owners are not happy with the company is because there was download errors. Many Samsung phone owners complained on Twitter about gateway errors when they tried to download the Jay-Z album. Samsung’s version of the album is reportedly the clean version of the album. Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4, and Note II owners will have to pay for the album in order to get the unedited version.
The Jay-Z album is supposed to be released on July 9th with 15 tracks. The album features Justin Timberlake, Rick Ross, and Beyonce.
