Jon Jacobs has set a world record for the biggest virtual good sales ever. In the MMO game Entropia Universe, Jon Jacobs sold all of his land on a giant virtual asteroid. Jacobs sale breaks the record of a previous sale of $330,000 for a virtual space station. Jacobs sold goods worth $335,000.

Jacobs sold other properties that are worth about $300,000. That means that Jacobs sold about $665,000 worth of virtual goods. Entropia uses a micro-payment business model where players buy Project Entropia Dollars (PED) as currency. The buyer of the $335,000 worth of virtual goods was John Foma Kalun.
