Here’s the backstory: Over the weekend, Digg founder and Google Ventures partner Kevin Rose uploaded a video on his YouTube account of him throwing a raccoon down some stairs. The raccoon was attacking his small dog named Toaster. Rose was woke up by the sound of his dog Toaster crying. Rose quickly sprang into action, grabbed the raccoon, and mercilessly hurled it. Honestly, I would have done the same thing if a raccoon was attacking my dog. Pets are like family members.
“I do not encourage animal violence,” stated Rose in the video. “I wanted to get the wild animal as far away from us as possible.” I’m sure that the raccoon survived the toss, but must have been disheveled. YouTube commenters are suggesting that Rose takes his dog to the vet for rabies though since it had bite marks.
The video has already hit over 3.9 million views since being uploaded this past Sunday. Here is the video below:
