Kobo is the e-reader company that has 10 million users in 190 countries. Kobo has acquired Aquafadas, a digital publishing technology company. Through the acquisition, Kobo will be able to bring in a collection of rich media like magazines, academic, comics, kid’s books, and other content to Kobo customers.

This transaction will strengthen both Kobo’s and Aquafadas position in our current markets and allow us to accelerate the growth of rich media with the Aquafadas Digital Publishing system.”
Aquafadas is known for having a sophisticated Digital Publishing System that covers digital publishing from content design to cross-platforms distribution and analytics. It has some of the most advanced content design tools with a library of ready-to-use apps like ePub3 export and a web reader.
