Learn From Ashley McDowell’s Mistake And Not Buy An iPad From Shady People At A McDonald’s Parking Lot

Ashley McDowell was walking in a McDonald’s parking lot when two men approached her and asked her if she wanted to buy an iPad for $300. She had only $180 on hand, but they gave it to her any way. When she got home, she found out it was a block of wood with the Apple logo painted on the back and icons painted on the front.

Moral of the story is do not buy an iPad from strangers at a McDonald’s parking lot in South Carolina. The con men said that they bought the iPads in bulk and was selling them at a discount. She called the cops and an investigation has been launched.
